Pixel Pop Newquay: Looking for Our Forever Home

Since opening our doors, the support from the Newquay community has been incredible. Families, kids, teenagers and adults have all come to experience the fun, fast-paced challenges on our interactive LED floor, and it’s been amazing to see how quickly Pixel Pop Newquay has grown.

Because of that growth, we’ve started looking for a forever home in Newquay — a larger space where we can expand and create something even better for the local community. Our goal has always been to offer one of the most exciting kids activities in Newquay and a place where families can come when they’re searching for things to do with the kids in Cornwall, especially on those rainy days when everyone needs somewhere fun to burn off energy.

One of the potential sites we’re currently exploring is the old Dairyland location near Newquay, which could offer a fantastic opportunity to build a bigger and more exciting Pixel Pop experience. We’re also looking at a couple of other interesting venues within Newquay, as we want to make sure the location works perfectly for families, accessibility and the wider community.

Our vision for a permanent home goes far beyond just games. We want to create a destination for family activities in Cornwall, a place where kids and adults can enjoy a mix of fun, movement and friendly competition. Plans include a dedicated party room for birthday parties in Newquay, so families can celebrate special occasions in a completely unique way.

We’re also planning to introduce monthly top-score leaderboards, where players can compete to set the best scores and win prizes. Whether you’re a competitive gamer, someone who loves a fitness challenge, or just looking for fun things to do in Newquay with friends or family, there will always be something to aim for.

What makes Pixel Pop different is the mix of fun and fitness. The interactive LED games encourage movement, reaction speed and teamwork, which is why so many visitors tell us they’re surprised by how much of a workout it can be. It’s not just a game — it’s an activity that brings together fitness, play and social interaction in a way that works for all ages.

Our goal is simple: to create one of the best places in Cornwall for kids activities, family fun and active entertainment. A place where locals and visitors alike can discover something new when looking for things to do in Cornwall, activities in Newquay, or fun fitness experiences that everyone can enjoy.

We’re still in the early stages of finding the perfect location, but we’re incredibly excited about what the future holds for Pixel Pop Newquay. With the continued support of our community, we’re confident that our forever home will become a fantastic hub for family fun, kids parties, fitness challenges and unforgettable experiences in Newquay.
